With its particularly low standby consumption of 3.3 watts, the storage system is also among the devices with the lowest losses. <\/p>\n<p>The HTW Berlin storage inspection is one of the most important sources of information for performance data on battery storage systems. The Battery Technology Center is one of the official testing laboratories that provide the data basis for the ranking. SAX Power submitted its Home Plus battery storage system with 7.7 kWh for this test. The results show that the product achieves top values in all tests: power conversion and battery efficiency, stationary and dynamic control deviation, and standby consumption.   <\/p>\n<p><strong>Test results place SAX Power at the top<\/strong><br \/>\nThe test results show averaged conversion efficiencies of 96.1% and 98.1% when charging and discharging into the home grid. The storage system achieves an unrivaled peak value of 98.6% when discharging at high power. The measured values of the SAX storage system even exceed highly efficient DC systems. Until now, DC systems were considered the more efficient storage systems because one conversion step (PV2BAT) is eliminated. Despite the additional conversion step, SAX Power has succeeded in achieving extremely high values with its patented technology.    <\/p>\n<p>Compared to the devices measured in the 2024 storage inspection, the SAX Power Home Plus with 7.7 kWh achieves top values among all AC storage systems and takes the lead in terms of efficiency.
