The smarter way to
independent energy supply

A photovoltaic system provides ample electricity – environmentally friendly and cost-effective. However, at midday, when the sun shines brightest, electricity consumption is usually relatively low. The generated electricity cannot be consumed.

The SAX Power battery storage offers the solution for this. It stores the surplus energy from midday and releases it during times of high demand. Thanks to its patented circuitry, the SAX Power battery storage also stands out from conventional batteries and offers:

  • High-voltage technology with maximum safety
  • High fire protection thanks to a shutdown time of only 0.2 milliseconds in case of error
  • Highest efficiency for optimal use of your solar energy
  • Environmentally friendly production chains through the use of cobalt-free cells

In this way, your valuable solar power is used cost- and energy-efficiently directly on site.

Graphic explaining that the electricity consumption of a normal household does not coincide in time with the electricity generated by the sun in a PV system. To compensate for this, electricity can be stored in a battery storage system for consumption peaks.

Battery Storage for Retrofitters

The SAX Power Home does not require an inverter on the battery side.

Diagram showing what is needed when a storage unit is retrofitted: only a SAX Power storage unit, whereas conventional battery storage units additionally require an inverter.

Battery Storage for New Installations

The SAX Power battery storage does not require an inverter on the battery side. Therefore, a new installation does not require an expensive hybrid inverter. This saves costs and installation space.

Diagram explaining the difference between a SAX Power storage unit and a conventional DC storage unit (such as BYD and Huawei storage units): The SAX storage unit works with a simple PV inverter, while conventional storage units (Huawei, BYD, etc.) require an expensive hybrid inverter.

Battery Storage for Battery Expansions

SAX Power battery storage units feature a special balancing method that optimally equalizes the charge states of the cells. Weaker cells have almost no influence on the overall battery performance. When expanding later, the advantage of the SAX Power battery storage’s circuitry is particularly clear: the new battery modules deliver full performance and are not negatively affected by older cells.
