pv magazine Webinar: Retrofitting Battery Storage for PV Systems After EEG Subsidies
In Germany today, photovoltaic systems are rarely built without battery systems. Older installations, on the other hand, usually do not have storage because battery storage was either not available at all or only at high prices in the past.
Systems whose 20-year EEG subsidy period has ended are ideal candidates for retrofitting with battery storage. However, there are also good reasons to consider additional storage for less aged systems: dynamic electricity tariffs, heat pumps, wallboxes, and numerous other applications.
In this webinar, we will discuss the conditions under which retrofitting with battery storage leads to an efficient, technically reliable, and therefore economically worthwhile overall solution.
