Home Storage Test: SAX Power Outperforms the Competition
The Berlin University of Applied Sciences (HTW) regularly tests all energy storage systems on the German market. In the latest evaluation, there is a clear winner that outperforms all other models: Our SAX Power Home Plus is the best energy storage system and achieves the best values ever measured in its class!
The reason for this is the unique multi-level technology that provides all our storage systems with greater efficiency, safety, and longevity than conventional models. After already excelling in the previous test with the highest efficiency and the lowest energy losses, our storage system has now also moved to the top of the field through further optimizations.
Among other improvements, we have increased the standard charging capacity of our storage system from 1.4 to 3.4 kilowatts—enabling the device to store short-term power peaks much more effectively on partly cloudy days. This means: more self-consumption of PV power, less grid consumption, and lower electricity costs. SAX storage systems deliver their technological advantages across all sizes, from models for smaller single-family homes to large commercial storage systems.
HTW summarizes its test results for each device in a “System Performance Index,” in which the SAX Power Home Plus, as the best energy storage system, now stands alone at the top with a value of 93.2%. With our “Made in Germany” storage systems, we now surpass all other manufacturers, including industry leaders such as BYD, Varta, and Huawei, making us the proven best solution for new installations as well as retrofits.
HTW Berlin publishes all test results in its web app Stromspeicher-Inspektor. Here is the press release on the current figures.
