As a specialist for legal requirements, standards, and certifications, you will support our company with all regulatory matters related to the sale, installation, and grid connection of our battery storage systems. In this key role, you will ensure that our products meet all applicable legal, technical, and safety requirements in our target markets and keep upcoming regulatory changes constantly in view.
Your Responsibilities:
- Management and interpretation of all relevant laws, standards, and directives in the field of battery storage and grid connection (low voltage, advantageously also medium voltage).
- Responsibility for national and international certifications of our products (e.g., CE, UN38.3, IEC standards, grid connection guidelines).
- Support throughout the entire product lifecycle regarding regulatory requirements—from development through market launch to after-sales.
- Monitoring of regulatory developments and proactive derivation of action requirements for product development and management.
- Close collaboration with engineering, quality assurance, sales, and external testing institutes.
- Contact person for authorities, grid operators, and certification bodies.
Your Profile:
- Completed technical or legal studies or comparable qualification.
- Experience in energy technology, electrical safety, certification, or regulatory compliance—ideally in the storage or electrical industry.
- Good knowledge of relevant standards (e.g., Low Voltage Directive, IEC 62933, VDE-AR-N 4105/4110) and regulatory frameworks.
- Analytical thinking, structured work approach, and strong awareness of quality and safety.
- Strong communication skills and ability to present complex regulatory topics in an understandable manner.
- German language proficiency in written and spoken form (min. C1)
