21st Einstein Marathon in Ulm: A great success for SAX Power
The Einstein Marathon is a major event every autumn in Ulm and Neu-Ulm, far beyond the running community. Around 10,000 participants take part, including many company teams – and in 2025, for the first time, one from PV storage manufacturer SAX Power. 29 colleagues took to the course in stylish SAX running shirts: some over the marathon or half-marathon distance, others in the health and leisure runs over shorter distances. There are even categories for inline skaters, handbikes and walking – and countless spectators line the route every year, creating a great atmosphere and providing motivation.
“Full of energy” was the SAX team – that is what it said on the shirts, and it also applies to our storage systems, which make more electricity usable than any other brand. It is therefore no surprise that our colleagues placed 40th out of 249 participating teams straight away – an outstanding result! A connection between running and Albert Einstein is easy to make at SAX: just as the Nobel Prize winner needed great perseverance to arrive at his revolutionary new view of the world, SAX technology was also developed over many years as a transformative innovation before it found its way into the homes of thousands of satisfied users.
The finish line for the races is Ulm’s Münsterplatz, where everyone who arrives is celebrated and sport blends with a party atmosphere. Of course, PV storage manufacturer SAX Power was also represented with a booth, where interested visitors could take a look at the SAX home storage system and learn why it achieved the best result of all storage systems in Germany this year. And why it is “the smartest electricity storage system,” as could also be read on the shirts – naturally with a nod to Einstein as the event’s namesake. We are sure: the great scientist would be proud of our team – and our technology.
